There is no greater video that captures the essence of making sake in Japan - the devotion, the effort, the passion and the personal responsibility.
This video is made/hosted by Higashikara, in Japan. From time immemorial, the creation of Japanese sake has been attributed to mysterious powers. From this train of thought, Japan’s sake has first been offered to the gods before being consumed by people. This custom of so-called “sacred sake” continues even to this day. Take, for example, the sacred sake enjoyed at festivals, or the “san-san-kudo” exchange of nuptial vows through sips of sake at Shinto weddings—even now, sake and the divine are closely linked.

We found this online and we cannot find a better example of why someone should go to Japan. Created by egawauemon, this video has over 1 Million Views....and we are happy to boost that count even higher for the creator. Located on the coast and crossed by several rivers, Miyazaki City enjoys scenic views of both ocean and nearby, verdant mountains. A popular resort destination for Japanese tourists, the city offers many attractions, including the SeaGaia event center (though the indoor ocean facility is no longer operational), the Phoenix Zoo, and many large hotels and onsens (public baths). An extraordinary place to visit for two or three days.
