The Rare, Black Japanese Watermelon

Our founder, Mr. Carl Rosa, posing with a rare Japanese Black Watermelon named a 'Densuke'. These watermelons fetch a hefty price - from $200 to $6,000. It was a gift from Japanese film director Aoki Watanabe when Carl visited during a project in Farmington, New Mexico. These delicacies are known throughout Japan but rarely seen.
